Barbara Spears began her real estate career nearly 24 years ago in the South End. She started as the marketing person for a well known developer, and learned a great deal about condominium conversion and development. In 1987, she purchased Boston Realty Group with a partner, and in 1991, moved the office from its location at the corner of Mass Ave and Tremont Street, to its current location at 476 Columbus Avenue. The name "South End Realty Group" was adapted soon thereafter.
Since its inception, Barbara has helped hundreds of buyers, sellers and developers, providing expert advice and dedicated service.
In addition, she has participated in the community for many years, most notably with South End Youth Baseball and the Friends of Peters Park.
Barbara was born, raised and educated in Boston, is well traveled, and is the proud parent of a 21 year old son named Ethan. She recently purchased a loft in Jamaica Plain, and is thoroughly enjoying the lifestyle.
